It will filter out the impurities and particles, so as to ensure the normal operation of the engine. What are the precautions when cleaning and replacing the air filter?

Before maintaining the air filter, it is necessary to close the engine and ensure that the safety lever is placed in the locked position. If the engine is replaced or cleaned during operation, dust will enter the engine.

Precautions for cleaning the air filter of the excavator:

1. When cleaning the air filter, remember not to use a screwdriver or other tool to remove the air filter housing cover or the outer filter.
2. Do not disassemble the inner filter during cleaning, otherwise the dust will enter and cause problems in the engine.
3. When cleaning the air filter element, do not hit or pat the filter element with anything. Do not open the air filter element for a long time during cleaning.

4. After cleaning, it is necessary to confirm the use condition of the filter material, gasket or rubber seal of the filter element. If it is damaged, it cannot be used any more.
5. After cleaning the filter element, when the lamp is used for inspection, if there is a small hole or thin part on the filter element, the filter element needs to be replaced.
6. For each cleaning of the filter element, remove the flag of the cleaning number from the air filter assembly cover.

Precautions when replacing the air filter of the excavator:

When the excavator filter element has been cleaned 6 times, the rubber seal or the filter material is damaged, the air filter element needs to be replaced in time. The following precautions are mainly required when replacing the air filter element.

1. Remember to replace the inner filter while replacing the outer filter.
2. Do not use damaged gaskets, and filter media or rubber seals to damage the filter.
3. Do not use counterfeit filter elements because the filter effect and sealing are poor, and the dust will damage the engine after entering.
4. When the inner filter seal or the filter material is damaged, replace it with a new one.
5. It is necessary to check whether the sealing part of the new filter element is adhered to dust or oil stains, and if necessary, it needs to be cleaned.
6. When inserting the filter element, if the rubber at the end expands, or if the external filter element is not pushed up and is firmly attached to the buckle, there is a danger of damaging the cover or the filter housing.
