The operators with insufficient operation experience often have no countermeasures. How to assemble the chain after the chain is detached? How to reduce or Is it to some extent to avoid such a phenomenon?


Pre-match work:

1. Inform the construction party that there is a problem with walking and it is necessary to stop working for processing.

2. Determine the surrounding environment of the machine. After the track is detached, try to select a spacious and flat and hard place. There are mounds or stones, branches and other obstacles around the track. You can use the digging machine to sweep the bucket to maintain a certain range of rotation and walking. .

3. Judging the degree of detachment of the excavator, if it is caused by the breakage of the object or other faults, the repairman should be notified in time for repair. Check if there is any dirt and sand in the excavator track. If there are a lot of objects, you need to clean it in time. It is understood that the reason for most crawler belts is that there are too many sundries in the crawler device, and they fall off during the steering operation. In particular, the machine track link where the machine condition is poor wears a large gap and is more likely to fall off.

4. Using a wrench or a sleeve, remove the track oil-filled grease nipple, use the excavator bucket to prop up the crawler off the side and turn the track. The butter will follow and the drive wheel will retract.

How to assemble the track:

Method 1:

Turn the chain joint pin to the middle height of both ends and knock it out.

At this time, the track plate can be placed flat and in a shape of a line.The excavator unilaterally walks to the top of the track.

At this time, the two sides of the track are butted together, and the live pin can be assembled. This method is also suitable for rubber track assembly. Due to the aging of the live pin, the tapping is difficult and even the welding and cutting equipment is required to assemble.

Therefore, this method is generally not recommended.


Method 2:

When one side of the track is detached, to clean up the debris around the track, the sprocket must be docked first, and the upper track should be hooked up with the bucket.

At the same time, the drive wheel is aligned and enters the inside of the track, and the vehicle is adjusted with iron bars. Align the drive teeth and align the upper tug, which is one-third complete.

Hold the machine to unilaterally walk to make the track straight, once again prop up the machine and get off the car to adjust the lower track, try to make the track fall after the track is aligned with the track, and this step has been completed two-thirds.

Simply use the bucket to gently lift the excavator and lift the track with the bucket teeth, so that the guide wheel enters the track. Then, adjust the track alignment guide wheel, then turn the track and add the butter. Then the track is assembled.
